Installation Location:
According to the specific gravity and wind direction of the gas, the detector should be installed within one meter from the possible gas leakage location, so that the actual response speed of the detector is relatively fast. Otherwise, there may be an inconsistent concentration of flammable gas or toxic and harmful gases where the detector is installed. exceeds the standard, but the local gas at the leak point has exceeded the standard, but the detector and host cannot alarm.
The detector should be installed at a height greater than 30 cm from the ground to prevent water from splashing in. Under normal circumstances, to detect harmful gases with a specific gravity less than that of air, the probe should be installed above the house or equipment; for harmful gases with a specific gravity greater than that of air, the probe should be installed close to the ground. The detector should be installed with the probe facing downwards. If it is installed outdoors, a rain shield should be installed above the detector.
Note: The detection range of each probe in the open area is 60 square meters, and gas expansion must also be considered.Factors such as dispersion, wind direction, temperature, humidity and area closure. Protection measures such as dustproof, waterproof and high temperature protection should also be considered during installation.
Installation Method
Users can design their own fixing methods. But be careful to keep the sensor surface of the probe vertical to the ground. After the probe is fixed, remove the screws on the upper cover of the housing and insert the shielded (three-core 3×1.5mm) transmission cable through the cable passage. It is recommended to use shielded soft-core (three-core 3×1.5mm) cable and connect the cable to the terminal position. After checking that the wiring is secure, secure the cables and the upper cover of the housing.
