Infrared Absorptive Combustible Gas Concentration Detector Product Features
● Intrinsically safe circuit design, explosion-proof certified, secondary lightning protection, anti-static, with lightning and static protection capabilities exceeding national standards, resistant to high-intensity pulse surge current impacts. High reliability and stability.
● Standard bus RS485 and 4–20mA standard signals output simultaneously, 1 set of relay switch output, optional frequency output 200–1000Hz, 1–5V output, wireless transmission (10–50 km or unlimited distance). Enables wired or wireless remote real-time monitoring, data upload to mobile phones or transmission via LAN, internet to environmental protection bureaus, other monitoring centers, monitoring devices, or monitoring computers. Real-time on-site concentration monitoring through free host software or gas alarm controllers.
● Compatible with various secondary meters, data acquisition modules, PLC, DCS systems. Can directly drive electromagnetic valves, fans, alarms, etc., or drive high-power equipment via intermediate relays.
● Standard-equipped with infrared remote control, enabling operation without opening the cover in hazardous environments.
● Dual optical path detection, anti-interference differential algorithm, avoids false alarms due to moisture and dust interference.

Introduction to the interface display of the infrared absorption combustible gas concentration detector

 

Once the detector is connected to the power supply (12–30 VDC) and starts operating, the LCD display will illuminate with white and red backlighting. The detector will then enter its self-check process, displaying all content on the LCD, activating relays, and if equipped with an audible and visual alarm, triggering the alarm. After three seconds, the detector will begin a 10-second countdown.

Installation Location for Infrared Absorption Combustible Gas Concentration Detector
Based on the specific gravity of the gas and wind direction, the detector should be installed within one meter of potential gas leak points. This ensures a faster actual response time from the detector. Otherwise, a situation may occur where the combustible or toxic gas concentration at the detector’s installation point does not exceed the limit, while the local concentration at the leak point has already exceeded the standard, yet the detector and host fail to trigger an alarm.
The detector should be installed at a height greater than 30 cm above the ground to prevent water splash ingress. Generally, for detecting harmful gases lighter than air, the probe should be installed above the building or equipment; for gases heavier than air, the probe should be installed close to the ground. The detector probe should face downward during installation. If installed outdoors, a rain shield should be added above the detector.
 
Note: In open areas, each probe covers a detection range of 60 square meters. Factors such as gas diffusion, wind direction, temperature, humidity, and enclosure of the area should also be considered. During installation, protective measures against dust, water, and high temperatures should also be taken into account.
Installation Method
Users may design their own fixing method. However, care must be taken to keep the sensor surface of the probe perpendicular to the ground. After fixing the probe, remove the screws from the upper cover of the housing, and insert the shielded (three-core 3×1.5mm) transmission cable through the cable passage. It is recommended to use shielded flexible (three-core 3×1.5mm) cable and connect it to the terminal positions. After checking that the wiring is secure, fasten the cable and the upper cover of the housing.
